Transparency and partnerships

The Inheritant is an independent publication. To pay for its research, writing and running costs, we take part in a small number of affiliate programs. When you follow certain links on this site and make a purchase, the retailer or maker may pay us a commission.

How it works

This costs you nothing extra. The price is the same whether you buy through our link or go to the seller yourself. Links that may earn a commission appear on product pages and, occasionally, in articles.

Editorial independence

We only feature what we would choose anyway. Whether a commission is available can affect where we link. It never decides whether something is good enough to appear here. We do not accept payment for coverage, and no one can buy a place on these pages. Many of the things we feature earn us nothing at all.

Tracking and cookies

When you click an affiliate link, the seller or its affiliate network may place a cookie in your browser so the sale can be credited to us. Those cookies are set and controlled by them, under their own privacy policies. We receive reports of clicks and sales. We do not receive your name, address or payment details.
