Why it's here

If you care what water you drink at home, you should not have to settle for plastic the moment you leave the house. This bottle carries your own water through the day, cold, in steel. It also does something most bottles cannot: its cap seals tightly enough to hold sparkling water without going flat. And it looks good, a plain silver column topped with a green sphere.

The object

Two walls of stainless steel with a vacuum between them keep the contents cold for hours and the outside dry. The ball-shaped cap locks under pressure. Nothing inside is plastic or lined, so water tastes only of water.

Living with it

Fill it in the morning and keep it on the desk, in the car or in a bag. It fits a cup holder. Rinse it out each evening and leave it open to dry overnight.
