Running kit is almost always ugly: loud colours, shiny fabric, logos down every seam. Satisfy, a small Paris label, makes gear with the taste of a good clothing house and the performance of the serious brands. These gloves are the simplest way in. They look like something knitted, in a soft grey-green, and they work better than the plastic kind.
The object
The fabric is a lofted fleece fixed to an open mesh, developed for mountain use. It holds warmth while letting sweat escape, and it keeps insulating when damp. The cuff is long enough to tuck under a sleeve, and the only label is a small one sewn to the outside, where it cannot rub.
Living with it
They are for runs and walks from late autumn to early spring. They weigh almost nothing, so they disappear into a pocket once you warm up. Wash them cool and let them dry flat.
