Why it's here

Everyone knows the Pro V1. Fewer know the Left Dash. Titleist developed it in 2018 for a handful of tour players who wanted the high flight of the Pro V1x with less spin off the driver, and for years it could not be bought in a shop. It is marked only by a small dash before the name. We like the best-known maker's least-known ball.

The object

It is a four-piece ball with a dual core and a cast urethane cover. Compared with the standard Pro V1x it spins noticeably less on full shots, which tightens the flight for players with a fast swing, and it has the firmest feel in Titleist's range.

Living with it

It suits a strong ball-striker who already hits it high and wants more run. If your swing is gentler, the regular Pro V1 will serve you better, and it is worth being honest with yourself about that.
