Whoop, Life Health Tracker
[Acquire from WHOOP]
For the one possession that cannot be replaced.
No screen · Worn day and night · Sleep, recovery, strain and heart health
Why it's here
Everything else on these pages could be bought a second time. A body cannot. WHOOP is what professional athletes wear to know whether they have slept, recovered and trained well, and it tells you the same things without a screen, a notification or a watch face. We chose it because good health is the rarest thing a person can own, and this is the quietest instrument for looking after it.
The object
A woven band and a small sensor, with nothing to look at. It measures your heart, sleep and daily strain around the clock and reports to your phone each morning with a single recovery score. It is worn in the shower, in the sea and in bed, and it charges while still on your wrist.
Living with it
Wear it on the wrist opposite your watch, where it reads as a plain fabric band. Check the score once, in the morning, and let it decide how hard the day should be. After a few weeks you will know what a late dinner or a second drink actually costs you.
